what can i do to fix cracked plexiglass in a basketball backboard?
Is there some sort of product that fixes cracks that would do this job?
On the backside of the backboard I would put hardware cloth cut in a strip over the crack. Make sure it is wide enough to over lap the crack at least an inch on each side. Use two part epoxy to completely cover the hardware cloth. When it dries it will act as reinforcement. In the front I would gouge the crack so that it forms a slight “V”. I would fill the “V” with epoxy. In order to increase the holding power of the epoxy, I would rough up any plexiglass surface that will have epoxy on it with sandpaper. I would also make sure that all the surfaces are dry and clean, rubbing alcohol works well for this. Good Luck!!

I dont know of any product to bond it ,but you can stitch it together by drilling small holes opposite each other oneach side of the crack and stitching it with wire in a criss cross manner.
