Basketball Backboards - What type of basketball backboard should I purchase? Acrylic? Aluminum?
I have to replace my basketball backboard and rim for my townhome complex. I’m curious is anyone has any guidance on what type of backboard I should purchase. Thanks for any guidance you can offer.

im a good player and i think you should get a glass backboard they are alot better then plastick or any other

acrylic is the way to go. it is better than plastic and it wont crack or shatter too easily.
btw, why the hell would anyone suggest a glass backboard? thats stupid, if you throw the ball at it, it will break. people need to understand the difference between acrylic, plastic, and glass. just because theyre all see through doesnt mean theyre all the same.
