Basketball Backboard - Can i mount an aluminum basketball backboard onto a brick wall?

No problem at all. You will need a masonry drill bit and concrete anchors. What it is basically is a lead insert that you will put in the hole you drilled. The lead insert has a hole in the center that you can use to put your bolts into. Use flush mount phillips head 1/4 inch bolts… Be sure and get the correct length. Check out your local home depot or lowes… Its simple and anyone can do it.

can i buy just a new basketball backboard or do i have to replace the whole thing?
i broke my backboard and i'm wondering if i can just replace the backboard or do i have to buy a whole new thing.
You can find replacement backboards. Search google for replacement basketball backboard.
Also, you could simply make one yourself. In high school I made my own from basic materials at the lumber yard.
